Hi, my name is Felix R Velez and my wife’s Name is Sonia. I came to know the Lord while stationed in Jacksonville Florida in 1985. I have been a Christian for 36 years. During my Christian journey I have had the opportunity to serve as an Associate Minister, Elder, Deacon and Ministry Leader.
My favorite bible verse, and one I always go back to is 1 Corinthians 2:1-2 (NIV)
1-And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.
2-For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
This verse serves as a reminder that we are to be about the Lord’s work. We should never allow the things of this world to derail us from our journey. We are but sojourners in this world on our way to meet with the Lord.
To share God’s word of Hope, Mercy, and Grace with others is a privilege and a blessing.
